Good Afternoon! Let us rejoice in the Lord.
<!###################################################################################### AREA TO WRITE IN ###################################################################################################################>
Although sin and death came to all of mankind through the sin of Adam in the Garden of Eden, God has provided a way whereby each and every one of us might be reborn spiritually alive. 1 If we are, we will spend eternity with God. 2 If not, we will spend eternity in the lake of fire separated from Him. 3
Located just outside of Jerusalem is a ravine that was known as the "valley of Hinnom." It was a terrible place where pagan deities were worshiped; a place where children were sacrificed to the pagan god Molech. 4 Eventually this ravine became a place where the refuse of Jerusalem was dumped; a garbage dump that burned continuously. It became a graphic picture of the final abode of both fallen angels and the unredeemed of mankind; a place of unquenchable fire. 5
Not only is the lake of fire described as a place of unquenchable fire, but it is also described as a place of extreme torment. It's a place located away from the earth (in the outer darkness) where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 6 It's the place where fallen angels and the unredeemed of mankind (the unsaved) will spend all eternity separated from God and others. 7
THERE'S HOPE:
